EL VALOR'S 2012 DON QUIXOTE DINNER PROMISES TO BE A VERY SPECIAL EVENT!

On behalf of our dinner chair, Anne R. Pramaggiore, ComEd President and CEO, we invite you to celebrate the work of the last year by joining us for the 2012 Don Quixote Dinner. We request your support and the honor of your presence on Wednesday, June 6^th at the Hilton Chicago & Towers. On that evening, we will recognize two very special individuals who have significantly contributed to El Valor’s mission.

Loretta Rosenmayer, CEO of INTREN, will be honored with the Corporate Visionary Award. Ms. Rosenmayer has supported El Valor for more than 15 years. She is a person of honor and integrity, who expects excellence of herself and others. As she ensures the trust of her customers and empowerment of her staff, Ms. Rosenmayer instills stewardship as a way of life. By incorporating this approach into her business, she has earned the respect and support of her peers, and the community.

Dr. Vincent A. Allocco, El Valor’s President, will be presented with the Guadalupe Reyes Founder’s Award. Dr. Allocco is someone who has led El Valor through the challenges of growth with a spirit of hope and opportunity. Because of his work, thousands of children have received a head start on life, developing the foundations necessary to succeed socially, emotionally and cognitively. He has championed people of varying abilities to develop to their fullest potential, where they are making contributions and involved in community life. He has inspired leaders from traditionally underrepresented communities to challenge themselves and achieve the highest levels of academics such as the attainment of doctoral degrees. His work with El Valor began with Mrs. Reyes, our founder, over 30 years ago. Today he is a beacon of inspiration for thousands.
