In an effort to make this belief a reality, a variety of technology is made available to use in our facilities including- Smart Board, iPads, desk top computers, chrome books, apple televisions, iPods, and other assistive technology. Providing individuals with new ways to complete their individualized tasks and goals improve their ability to fully integrate into the community, obtain employment, learn new skills. The technology available allows individuals to learn and communicate in a manner that is most appropriate for them.

The STAR room is where the exploration of therapeutic sensory items and engagement with education technology meet. A fiber optic calming shower and smaller setting allows engagement to be focused and meaningful. El Valor also boasts its own Autism Program and multiple other settings that offer a quiet interactive space for individuals who are at times overwhelmed in their environment.
