  • The Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF) awarded a Three-Year (3) Accreditation to El Valor’s community employment services, community housing, and community integration programs in 2024. The Three-Year Accreditation represents the highest level that can be awarded to an organization. El Valor’s renewed accreditation since 1981 is a testament of its commitment to comprehensive, person-centered, quality services
  • The 2021 Vanessa Rich Innovation & Leadership Program Award was awarded to El Valor’s Children & Family Centers for delivering comprehensive services with integrity and compassion to over 3,000 children & families
  • ExceleRate Illinois awarded El Valor’s Rey B. Gonzalez Children & Family Center with a Silver Circle of Quality, which recognizes that the program goes the extra mile to make sure children receive enhanced learning and care experiences
  • In 2015, El Valor was selected as a Bright Spot, by the White House Initiative on Educational Excellence for Hispanics
  • Wing Across the Americas; Awarded by Urban Communities in Conservation Award, 2012 – Presented by U.S. Forest Service
