USFS Highlights El Valor's Education Supervisor and Nature-Inspired Learning

For years, the US Forest Service has been a vital ally to El Valor, shaping our educational approach by emphasizing the link between nature and learning. A recent spotlight on our Education Supervisor, Sinead Abarca, highlighted her journey from a participant in Forest Service-funded nature camps to her current role.

Beginning as a student at El Valor, she progressed to become a teacher and now serves as an Education Supervisor. Drawing on her childhood experiences, Sinead infuses her classrooms and life with a blend of nature and culture, inspiring fellow educators to do the same.
