March with El Valor in the 2017 Disability Pride Parade!

July 22, 2017

Join us at the Disability Pride Parade, on Saturday, July 22, 2017. The mission of the parade is to change the way people think about and define “disability”; to break down and end the internalized shame among people with disabilities; and to promote the belief in society that disability is a natural and beautiful part of human diversity in which people living with disabilities can take pride.

We will meet at El Valor’s Float that will be on Van Buren and Plymouth Court at 10:00 a.m. The parade steps off at 11 a.m. at Van Buren and Dearborn Streets in downtown Chicago. We will march north on Dearborn Street to Daley Plaza (50 W. Washington) for the post-parade program, that will take place from noon-2:30 p.m.

Please show your support by participating in the parade or just come out with your friends and family and watch.

If you have any questions about participating in the Parade with El Valor, please contact Hector Izaguirre at (312) 997-2030 ext 55231 or hizaguirre@elvalor.net.
