27th Annual Don Quixote Dinner
During this unprecedented COVID-19 pandemic, El Valor has made the tough, but necessary, decision to postpone this year’s Don Quixote Dinner in an effort to protect the safety and well-being of our community. The Dinner had been scheduled for June 9, 2020.
We hope for better days that will bring the end of social distancing, and an opportunity for social embracing that will allow us to celebrate our exemplary honorees: Governor J.B. Pritzker, Matthew Turk of INTREN, and Dan Arce of Tropical Optical. We are exploring rescheduling our event for later in the year, and will continue to update you as details develop.
Despite the mounting daily challenges, our focus remains on serving our 4,000 children, individuals with disabilities, and families through COVID-19 relief efforts. Our work would not be possible without the support of our wonderful partners. We hope you will consider making a pledge to El Valor’s Don Quixote Dinner, knowing that your sponsorship will make the greatest impact ever. It will enable us to continue providing essential care, supplies, and services to our most vulnerable.
In case you missed ABC-7’s report, here’s a glimpse of some of our recent efforts.
