JOB SUMMARY: 

The Quality Assurance Program Manager is a key leadership role responsible for ensuring the quality, compliance, and overall effectiveness of all programs serving adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. This position oversees program operations to align with regulatory requirements, agency standards, and best practices in person-centered care.

The Quality Assurance Program Manager provides strategic and operational oversight to ensure service delivery is consistent, data-informed, and mission-driven. This role leads internal committees focused on quality improvement, compliance, and service innovation. Additionally, the Quality Assurance Program Manager plays a critical role in supporting the organization’s development efforts by contributing to grant writing, monitoring program outcomes, and preparing timely reports for funders and regulatory bodies.

This position requires strong leadership, attention to detail, and a commitment to advocacy and inclusion for people with disabilities.

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:

  • BA/BS in Human Services field from an accredited school of higher education preferred.
  • Masters degree preferred.
  • Understanding of grant program life cycles.
  • Minimum 3 years experience working with people with intellectual disabilities.
  • Minimum 3 years management/supervision experience in related field.
  • Bilingual (Spanish & English) strongly preferred.
  • Driver’s license required.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel).

WAGE/SALARY RANGE: 

  • $65,000 – 72,000 / year

WORK LOCATION:

  • 1850 W 21st Street, Chicago, IL 60608
  • Flexibility to travel to other worksites/work assignments required.

SCHEDULE:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday (some weekends and evenings may apply as needed)
  • Remote work days available after probationary period
