Acquired Brain Injury Program

El Valor’s Aquired Brain Injury (ABI) Program provides specialized case management services to persons of all ages who have experienced a traumatic brain injury. The purpose of the Brain Injury Services is to allow the individual to live independently at home by linking the individual and family with in-home services. El Valor provides supports to 250 individuals who have severe brain injury as a result of a stroke, accident, infection, or other related cause(s).

Respite Programs

Respite Programs provides temporary relief to families, parents and caretakers of children and adults with developmental disabilities. This time could be utilized for running errands such as grocery shopping, salon appointments, and medication fulfillment or simply to provide a restful break. This service is especially helpful when emergencies occur that take caregivers away from the home for short periods.
