JOB SUMMARY:
The Coordinator of Residential Services will support the management team with regard to all six Community Integrated Living Arrangements in the Agency. Assists in the oversight of all day to day operations for El Valor’s six Community Integrated Living Arrangements. The Coordinator will work directly with the Manager of Residential Services and House Supervisors to ensure compliance with all program requirements, staffing of all homes, assist in training of Direct Support Personnel, and provide support to the facilities to ensure meaningful community engagement.
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
- BA/BS in Human Services field from an accredited school of higher education required.
- Two years of prior experience with the Intellectual and Developmental Disability (IDD) population preferred;
- Fluent verbal and written English and Spanish communication preferred;
- Completion of a DSP certification training program preferred but not required (training may be provided);
- Passion and commitment working with adult with intellectual and developmental disabilities;
- Must pass a reading comprehension test and pre-employment background check screening requirements;
- Successful completion of First Aid/CPR certification required within four months of hire or current certification;
- Complete Medication Administration training courses within four months of hire;
- Current, valid Illinois driver’s license and proof of insurance required;
- Reliable means of transportation required;
- Willing to work evenings, weekends, overnights and overtime as needed;
- Flexibility and ability to work all shifts;
- May be required to lift/move objects weighing up to 40 pounds;
- May be required to lift and transfer individuals when necessary.

WAGE/SALARY RANGE:
- $23.00 – $26.00 / hour

- Flexibility to travel to other worksites/work assignments required.
