El Valor Earns Three-Year CARF Accreditation for Outstanding Disability Support

El Valor proudly earned a Three-Year Accreditation from the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF), emphasizing the organization’s commitment to delivering high-quality services and fostering a supportive and inclusive community. This recognition highlights El Valor’s dedication to empowering individuals with disabilities to lead fulfilling, independent lives. 

CARF commended El Valor staff for their expertise, experience, and commitment to those they serve, stating “The individuals served by El Valor are supported by a well-trained, committed, and experiences staff. Many staff members have a long tenure with the organization. It is evident that individuals served have trusting and respectful relationships with the support staff members, which allows El Valor to provide the highlight quality of service.” 

 El Valor’s six residential homes were also praised for promoting personal choice and fostering a strong sense of belonging. “The homes operated by El Valor fit well into their neighborhoods and reflect the personal choices of the individuals who reside in them. Expressing a strong sense of satisfaction and pride in their living spaces, individuals served actively participate in planning meals, activities, and community outings.” 

 CARF also noted, “It is clear that individual rights are a top priority for the staff,” and recognized that “El Valor is an integral and well-respected part of the local community.” The Three-Year Accreditation represents the highest level that can be awarded to an organization. El Valor’s renewed accreditation since 1981 is a testament of our commitment to comprehensive, person-centered, quality services.
