Exceptional Emerging Leadership Award

El Valor is committed to recognizing and celebrating the exceptional achievements of our talented staff.  It is with this dedication in mind that we are pleased to announce Ms. Ilinca Ivan, Education Director of Children’s Programs, as an Exceptional Emerging Leader, as awarded by the Childcare Exchange Leadership Initiative. This program seeks to honor these professionals for their outstanding leadership, expertise, and vision in the field of Early Childhood Education. Applicants were rigorously reviewed and selected by the Emerging Leaders Review Team, and highlighted as a member of a new generation of forward-thinking pioneers making positive strides in improving the quality of educational care for our nation’s young children.

For the past eight years, Ms. Ivan has shown this exact type of passion and dedication in providing high quality educational and support services to children and families at El Valor. Ms. Ivan initially began her journey in working with children and families through her humble beginnings as an intern at the Guadalupe Reyes Center. Since graduating, Ms. Ivan has continued to grow and demonstrate her talent, expertise, and a dedication to making a difference for children, families and communities.
