Family Events

El Valor recognizes that parents are their children’s first and most important teachers. We encourage active participation in daily center routines and invite families to join us for special events throughout the school year. These events foster connection, learning, and community engagement, including:

  • Mother’s School Readiness Conference – Empowering mothers with tools to support their child’s early education.
  • Father & Male Role Model Conference – Encouraging strong male role models in children’s lives.
  • Community Celebrations & Recruitment Events – Families join us for parades, Harvest Fest, and Winter Fest to spread the word about El Valor.
  • Family Activity Stations – Engaging hands-on experiences, from literacy activities to face painting.
  • Partnering with Families Event – Strengthening relationships between parents, teachers, and the community.
  • Week of the Young Child – A weeklong celebration highlighting early learning and family involvement.
  • Spring Nature Parade – Parents craft beautiful costumes for their children to showcase.
  • Parent Play – A special performance by parents, bringing joy and storytelling to life.
  • Auto Show – Parents collaborate to create fun, interactive stations and car-themed displays.
  • Monarch Butterfly Release – Parents design butterfly wings for their children to wear as they celebrate nature’s beauty.

Through these events, families and children learn, grow, and create lasting memories together.
