Home Visiting Services

El Valor’s ‘Birth to 3 In Home Visiting Services’ provides comprehensive programming within the family’s home. This offers opportunities for children and families to work and learn in their own environment.
Parent Infant Educators visit families in their own home once a week to bring family health services and other resources. These may include:

• Prenatal health and care for expecting mothers
• Activities to encourage school readiness
• Age-appropriate aides such as books and toys, to develop literacy and motor skills

Families are also invited to visit El Valor’s Children and Family Centers twice a month to participate in socialization with other families. This includes a shared meal time and educational activities to encourage social growth in a safe environment.
