JOB SUMMARY:
Work closely with the Program Coordinator and QIDPs to assist in oversight of program planning in the Community Day Services (CDS). Ensure that individuals in all programs are engaged in meaningful activities related to their goals.
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
- High School Diploma or GED or equivalency required;
- One to two years of prior experience with the Intellectual and Developmental Disability (IDD) population preferred;
- Fluent verbal and written English and Spanish communication preferred;
- Completion of a DSP certification training program preferred but not required (training may be provided);
- Successful completion of First Aid/CPR certification required within four months of hire or current certification;Current, valid Illinois driver’s license and proof of insurance required;
- Reliable means of transportation required;
- Passion and commitment working with adult with intellectual and developmental disabilities;
- Must be at least 18 years old;
- Must pass a reading comprehension test and pre-employment background check screening requirements;
- May be required to lift/move objects weighing up to 40 pounds;
EMPLOYMENT TYPE:

WAGE/SALARY RANGE:
- $ 20.00 – $22.50 / hour
- Based on experience and education
WORK LOCATION:

- Flexibility to travel to other worksites/work assignments required.
