Established in 1973, El Valor fills a crucial gap in Chicago’s services, offering English and Spanish programs tailored to the community’s needs. However, we are among the few programs catering to individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities, and even fewer offer services in Spanish. Despite challenges, this event serves as a meaningful opportunity for attendees to express appreciation for the support and inclusivity El Valor provides.
